Pre-Kindergarten Registration for 2017-2018

On December 21, 2016, parents/guardians will be able to access online registration to start filling out the application. The registration application cannot be submitted until January 9, 2017 at 8:15 a.m. Please have a copy of your child's birth certificate, legal and immigration documentation for registration.

Children must be four (4) years of age by December 31, 2017 to be eligible for Pre-Kindergarten. If your child meets the eligibility criteria and you wish to enrol in the Pre-Kindergarten program, there will be a program fee. The cost of the program will be upon acceptance of your child into the program.

Please direct your property taxes to the Catholic School Division by filling out the School Support Notice, which is available at the school or municipal/county office.

Program Days:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, scheduled Thursdays (September 2016 – January 2017)
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (February 2017 – June 2017)

Program Hours:

  • Monday: 8:45 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.


A meeting will be held at our school on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. ​The purpose of this meeting will be for you to meet your child’s teacher, other parents and to learn more about Pre­-Kindergarten. We will discuss the structure of the program, support from speech language pathologists, “drop off and pick up” routines, snack program, sign up for individual sessions and parent volunteer opportunities.

There is a $30.00 registration fee for Pre-­Kindergarten. Payment should be made at the Parent Information Evening. Cheques payable to: Red Deer Catholic Regional Division #39.


At the parent information evening you will sign up to attend the program on one of the following days: Friday, September 2 or ​Tuesday, September 6, 2016. You and your child will attend the program together on that day. First day without parents is Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
