New Vice-Principal for 2017-2018 school year

We would like to congratulate Curtis Lansing on being appointed Vice-Principal for the 2017-2018 school year.

Curtis graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education degree and then obtained his Masters in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Oregon. He has been teaching with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools since 2005. 

Curtis has been a middle school teacher with a specialty in science, math and physical education. He was involved as the Inclusion Lead and LIFT teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School while overseeing athletics in this school community and holding the position of Red Deer Catholic Middle Schools Athletics President. For the past year, he has been the assistant principal at Maryview School.

Curtis and his family belong to the St. Mary’s Parish and are hospitality ministers. He has also been a Baptismal Retreat Leader and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

May God continue to bless the work of Curtis, as he shares his many gifts and talents.
